Sorry for the late late late update on camp!

Okay so, HELLO PEOPLE! :D

First thing that everyone needs to know is that this is our FIRST CF camp, after being unofficial for so many years! Praise God that it was a success & yeah, we combined with SMK Subang Jaya. It got awkward for a while for some of us when we reached there, but as time passed, all of us started talking to each other! :D

Trust that all of us who went to REVAMP have been blessed after the 3days2nights in First Baptist Church, from 15th-17th of June. For those who weren't able to go/ didn't want to go, here's a summary of what we did:

GREETINGS EVERYONE !!!

Hey. How's everybody?!?! Guess what we did for RR for this week on FRIDAY? We swept all the class room in our school! It started like that someone gave me an idea of doing something like what we did for last year's RR, which was cleaning all the windows, then i decided to do it something similar. So me and another coordinator, Jay yang came out with sweeping all the classes. We talked to teacher about it, Pn. Liew asked us to go for it and ask for permission from PK HEM, she heard and was really happy with what we wanna do, she decided to help us with providing broom=). Then we started with a word of prayer then split into groups of three. It took us bout an hour to clean bout 30 classes and the corridors and the stairs =). By the way there were about 30++ of us. Some student ask bout it when they saw us doing RR and wearing the badges, we manage to explain to them, some of our friends came late but they still join us =) PTL.. Oh ya, me and jay were wearing the badges, and teacher ask us to carry something, FYI that day was a day for some CERAMAH for the non-chinese and non-indian, then we were asked to help the speaker to bring his books, CD etc to the car, IT WAS REALLY AWESOME, THOUGH HE DID NOT ASK ANYTHING BOUT RR BUT JUST HAPPY WHEN WE DID THAT.
After everything, Pn. Liew blessed all of us with drinks. HOORAY !!!!!

GUYS REMEMBER BE ENCOURAGED =)

Recess Revo !!!

Hi all,

This week RR is on FIRE!! Praise the Lord,we did 2 RR for this week.=) The 1st one was on wed, the lord spoke to me during the last RR that we should bless the janitors in our school. Therefore, wed morning I collected money from the members, we collected rm 88 from them then we bought 25 X rm1 packet drinks to bless them, everything was great, the janitors were busy cleaning the school but when we bless them, it just lighted up their day, which we saw on their face.WE WERE JUST SO BLESSED BY BLESSING THEM. Some of us even went and blessed the canteen boss, who stopped and scolded us last year by doing RR. PTL!!!
Okay, so we had rm63 left and it was pretty last minute that i just remembered that sunday is Teacher's day, so we decided to make cards for them and buy them chocolates. Just the morning sessions la, coz afternoon session had other plan. So we made cards with bible verse in it which i would never forget coz due to the last minute-ness only a few of us knew, so there were just few of us making these cards with
''remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said:' it is more blessed to give than to receive,' ''.
It was quite a big challenge for us to put 'Lord Jesus' coz we are unofficial, so we were quite scared but we did it anyways. Besides, we even wrote our cf blog's website and also the revolution website on it. Praise the Lord again, they were really happy and blessed when we gave it to them, but there were not enough so we bought cards from the bookshop and started to make more in class. Then we went second round after school!!!
WE bought oreo biscuits and chocolate for them too!!!

Hello C-FOURces! :D

Guess what? We will be having our very own CF T-shirt, and we are asking YOU to design it. So unleash your creativity for God yo!

Have no clue where to start? Here are a few guidelines:
1. The CF theme EDIFY must be on the front of the shirt.
2. The words C-4ce or C-FOURCE or CF SMK USJ4 must be on the shirt (front or back, doesn't matter)
3. The Bible Verse on the theme MUST be on the shirt (The whole Verse or just the name of the Verse, which is 2 Peter 1:5-7)
4. Any addtional designs such as cartoons, drawings, abstract art are allowed, provided that the design does not look too messy.
5. Short slogans are allowed provided that you check with the CF president before adding it into the design.
6. If you have other colour options for your shirt design, do put it in a mini box in your template!

So you ask, how are we going to choose which design to use? We will collect your designs and cast votes during CF!

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Ever stood in front of the mirror and thought something like, ''God, you messed up when you made me"?

Is it possible for God to make a mistake on one of his creations?

You're lucky if you never looked in the mirror and gagged. Maybe you noticed a creep resemblance of your backside to a rhino's back end. Or suddenly you discovered why you have to run around in the shower to get wet- you're so skinny the water spray misses you.

And even people with perfect complexions have had the experience of heading out the door for school and grabbing one last glance in the mirror, only to find a Godzilla-like pimple is holding the end of their nose hostage.

You yell, "Why me, God? Did you have to blow it on me? Wouldn't my little brother have made a better victim if you had to make a mistake?"

Listen carefully. You aren't alone. All of us have felt that way. But the truth is that God doesn't makes mistakes. He didn't goof on you or anyone else. Whether you feel too tall, too short, too big, too little, or even too ugly. God made you just as you are. He thinks you're perfect.

God loves variety. That's why no two flowers are exactly the same,no two snowflakes are the same, and no two people are the same, even identical twins. He didn't want you to be just like everyone else because to him, you're a stand-out. He made you different because you deserve to be different.

You do, of course, have some options in how you look. How you eat (several slabs of pizza every day for lunch do impact how you look-duh!) and how you exercise (sitting in front of the tv doesn't really count) will make a difference. And a doctor can help you solve some appearance problems with your skin, weight, and overall wellness.

But the basic general formula that stares back at you in the mirror is God' masterpiece. You are God's masterpiece. You are special because God made you special, different because God made you different. If you looked like everyone else, you wouldn't be you.

Run for the Nation!

Yo people!

Have you heard of RunNat?

Run For The Nation (friendly known as RunNat) is a single morning running event that sees Christians praying as they run throughout selected areas in the city or town where the event is held. The Runners are grouped into teams of three and each Team is required to cover a 5km run of a preselected route passing by homes, schools, commercial areas, government buildings, religious sites and other places of interest. As the Team runs, one will lead in prayer while the other two will agree. With the aim to cover most grounds, the Run adopts the relay style by using Prayer Cards in replacement of batons.

In short, RunNat is about gathering God’s people to pray and intercede together for Malaysia by physically running across the areas which we pray for to bless the place with God’s blessing and anointing. We believe that this simple act of prayer will make a difference because our God is One who answers prayer.

Why should we join?

The Bible says in Matthew 18:19 & 20 – “Again, I (Jesus) tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Because of His Promise, the power of God flows through our prayer to make a difference in the matters in which we intercede on behalf of our country.

There is transforming power through prayer runs. As we head down the streets with prayer, communities are being transformed. It’s NOT an act of boasting how much we are praying for the country, rather it is about ushering the presence of God through each step we take on the streets into the communities around the area. As we intercede, we are ushering God’s presence to enter our land in the spiritual realms to bring revival to our beloved country.

During RunNat2009, one of the Runners who took part brought along three things as the team started their prayer run. As the trio ran, one of them started spreading mustard seeds (representing faith as written in the Bible), salt (another symbol of faith from the Bible) and olive oil (symbolising God’s anointing) along the streets which they stepped on. This is an act of ushering God’s presence into the community to make a difference.

At RunNat, the focus is NOT on the Run itself. Everyone can run; not everyone would run and pray at the same time for the country. Rather, at RunNat, the focus is on the prayer blessings that Runners carry with them as they intercede during the prayer run. Each prayer will make a difference because Jesus has promised that when we gather and pray in His name, it will be done by our Father in heaven. And that’s the power of prayer in which we all believe in.

Oh look! It's February already! How's everyone settling down in school? :D
And before you know it, the CNY holidays are here!

1. The CF to continue to expand and grow in the Holy Spirit
2. The committee to lead the CF and conduct smoothly
3. The members (YOU!) that they will continue to learn and be blessed through coming to CF and bringing friends!
4. The school to recognize and officialise CF.
5. RR groups to be strengthened and for the RR coordinators to conduct RR with the power of the Holy Spirit
6. Teacher advisor that God will continue to bless her and watch after her as she nutures our CF and supervises us.

Today I met up with our dear teacher advisor to talk about the CF. To cut things short, she's going to ask the pengetua for permission for us to use the classrooms for CF! :D

Of course, things aren't going to happen without faith and prayer!
Do keep our teacher advisor in prayer, and pray that God will soften the hearts of the pengetua and teachers so that we are able to use the classrooms for CF!

Regardless, do pray and trust God to expand our CF that it may grow and flourish into a healthy tree that shines for Jesus!

Thank God for 2009, an awesome year, in which He has blessed each and every one of us as individuals, and as a CF.
Thank God for the good times we had during CF, the games, ice-breakers, and the lame jokes....
Thank God for each and every one of you. Without your continuous support, CF wouldn't exist!
Thank God for providing us with awesome and gifted seniors who lead the CF and served faithfully!
Thank God for oversee-ing and guiding us during CF as well as RR's.
Thank God for His unfailing love, grace and mercy.
Thank God for His never-ending providence.

This Christmas Child

Watch Him. Watch Him. Watch this Child, who grows into a boy, who grows into a man and is found to be so much more. 

Watch as He is born—among shepherds and angels and bright lights in the sky. Watch as He grows in favor and stature—as a youngster asking questions, giving answers, astounding teachers. Watch Him in the desert—a young man in prayer, with hunger and thirst and a calling from heaven. 

Watch this strange northerner—with His calloused hands and radical ways—who grew up in “pagan” Galilee, whose brothers once thought Him unbalanced, and whose neighbors once drove Him out of town. Yet watch His authority, His acceptance, His patience. Watch Him touch the leper, heal the diseased, cleanse the impure. Watch Him teach the crowds to forgive and pray always.  

Watch Him as He kneels—in a garden, and in anguish. “Father, if You are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from Me. Yet I want Your will to be done, not Mine” (Luke 22:42). Radical submission to a heavenly plan. 

Watch as the Son of God is betrayed with a kiss. Watch as they arrest Him and His closest friends  flee. Watch as He submits to a fate sketched before time. Watch as they spit on Him and hit Him and crucify Him on a tree. 

Watch as one final breath slips from His lips—the sins of the world on the shoulders of one man. Then watch, yes watch, as the stone is rolled away; an empty tomb filled with hope, for He rose again! 

Then watch as His name and His fame fills the world.

Do Hope

Hello all! I've recently attended the launching of Project Do Hope which was held at Luther Centre Petaling Jaya.

During the whole course of the event, people of all ages, races, and religion talked about the three things below:

1. What is Hope to you?
2. What do you Hope for?
3. What will you do to make that Hope come true?

It struck me that, hope is actually God's gift to us. It motivates us, and gives us a drive to be better, it keeps us hanging on.

As for some of us, hope is what is keeping us alive. We might be going through darkness now, but the belief that we will see the light at the end of the tunnel of darkness, that is hope.

Hope is also a desire. Some people desire for better financial situations; some people desire for love. That is hope.

Some people might scoff and say, hope is just something people make up to comfort themselves. It may be true. Some of us do hope for things we cannot achieve.

But without hope, we will never have a goal in life. We will never set our minds and hearts on a road to travel on.

As Christians, what is our Hope? Moreover the question, who is our Hope?
Many of you already know the answer - Jesus.

Jesus, is God's gift to us. Jesus is the Hope for salvation. The Hope for mankind. The Hope for us to go to heaven and not perish in eternal doom. The Hope for us to be with our Creator forever.

Yet, we are only human. In so many times in our life we often stumble and fall. And when we do, we give up on hoping. However, we must never forget that Jesus will never ever give up on us.

Hope-timists: People who choose to keep on believing in spite of the evidence, and watch the evidence change.

Hope can only co-exist with faith. If we do not believe, we will not hope.

It is easy for us to say that we hope in God when life is easy. But can we say the same when we are facing trials and temptation?

God is not nearly as interested in changing circumstances as He is in changing people.
- Why We Act The Way We Do.

Many of us flunk the test of faith. When hardship comes, we complain to God that the circumstances are unfavourable for us to keep hoping. But it is in these times that hope is most needed as is faith.

God allowed us to go through this, as Zechariah 13:9 says
I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'These are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.'"

Ultimately, what we are going through is only going to make us BETTER and GLORIFY GOD.

The Christian life is never a race, it's a marathon. Hope keeps us believing that God will bring us through to the final destination. And if we believe, He definitely will :)

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7)

God calls for us to hope and rely on Him. Just a thought to ponder on, do we hope? Do we put our hope in God?

Never give up on Hope. Do Hope.

*Just like to say well done for all Form 5 candidates! The future will be tougher as more tribulations come our way = P

The purpose of me writing is to tell you people about the subject of Bible Knowledge(9221/1).

Looking back on the day of examination, there are only 9 students took up this subject!
I don't know about you but from what I think, its depressing to see this happening... Moreover, we took our exams with the Islamic students and the we are just approximately 1/13 of the them! "WOW!" I thought to myself. It's not about the number of Islamic student which surpasses us exceedingly shocked me but the lack of interest of believers in taking this subject.

"Come on people! We have got to Step Up and Show Off that Christianity is so real in our lives because if we PERISH, our everything will fade away but the scripture will not! Ask yourself these question now: "Is God your everything? Did Jesus die on the cross just for nothing? Or is God just another deity who we worship without even having no idea who He is?"

I know you may always think that BK is just another subject but honestly its THE MOST IMPORTANT subject. Why? Because it is the word of GOD! I tell you the truth, BK which teaches on the book of Luke and Acts truly has helped me in my journey as a believer. It has challenged my faith deeply and taught me things which I wouldn't have thought about including that of RAPTURE! Thus, every page is a whole new insight of what Jesus wants to teach us, a crooked and perverse generation.

My experience in a BK class was the best tuition class I've ever had and every moment was filled with joy and free of pressure! It has never disappoint or weary me for I'm always restored by the promises of the scriptures. =D

According to the Malaysia government, if there isn't 3000 students taking this subject, there is a high chance of this subject abolished and it would break God's heart to see that THIS generation not taking its stand as priests and ambassadors of Christ! "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."(1 Peter 2:9)

Finally, I would strongly encourage you to take up this subject if you want to live for Jesus by telling Him that you'll go the distance no matter how much energy is drained for His sacrifice on the cross is incapable for us to repay! If you think that you won't be able to do well in SPM for this subject, start asking God for help and you'll be able to sense His power working in your life; who cares others people look at you, most importantly is how God look at you..Take up the challenge for Jesus' sake and you & your family will be blessed tremendously!

"Why Pray?!"

Ha! "Why pray?"

Because Prayer is love, intimacy, restoration with God!

This also means that Prayer is not just about asking for provisions or protections but in union with God for His purpose accomplished in us!

"True whole prayer is nothing but love" (Sir Augustine)

The true spirit of prayer does not consist in asking for blessings, but in receiving Him who is the giver of all blessings, and in living a life of fellowship with Him!

Therefore, true Prayer comes from the opening of our hearts to God, speaking to Him as our Father in perpetual communion.=D

FYI, radio astronomy involves the detection of stars and planets at a great distance by transmitted wave produced. What is fascinating about this science research is that it can reach farther than humans capacity in traveling into outer space. How scientist obtain their information from the outer space is through the radio wave which can not be comprehended on it's aptitude . Prayer is literally the same for we do not know how does God work wonders but we can only trust and believe!

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.(Romans 10:17)

"Prayer is coming home"(Richard Foster)

Why?

1) Living room of His heart

2) Kitchen of His friendship

3)Dining room of His strength

4)Study of His wisdom

5)Workshop of His creativity

6)Bedroom of His intimacy

When we enter the "house", we must not hesitate to stay in one place only but to go around the house to gain what is needed for us to do greater exploits!

However, there are always obstacles to such divine revelation.

3 things which affect our prayer life:

1) Negative spirit(It's the spirit who cries out to God->Gal. 5:4)

2)Harden Conscience

3)Strongholds(Mindset impregnated with hopelessness)

*The key to opening the door is through surrendering to God's holiness!

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.(Mat.5:6)

"If we have 10% of unity, we have only 10% of anointing."(Carlos Annacondia)

We should pray corporately in unity as we rely on the same Creator!

Korea's largest church prays corporately, publicly and sometimes all night with their hearts desire~"I hear, I obey" .

Whatever the spirit prompts them to do, they obey and the result is obvious until today they are still praying strong!

"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations"(Mark 11:7)

"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."(Mat.11:29-30)

Fasting?( No! Not for Malaysians...)

Jesus fasted many many times and it is because he wants to hear and feel God's "heart beat" louder. Fasting do help us in praying.Fasting changes us!(Isa. 58:6)It helps us to overcome temptation and set free the oppressed! You can try and you will be able to feel more of God's presence for humility is shown through our action.

In conclusion, it's by grace and through God's sovereign glory, we learn to pray and be transformed by His renewing power of the spirit which dwells in us. Start praying genuinely today.

God Loves You!
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that . . .

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.
The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:
"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Dear CF babies,

Majlis Restu 2009 [EX.A.M] is less than a week away! Are you excited? Are you anticipating it? :)

This year, the theme is EXperience A Miracle. And to experience a miracle, we have to expect a miracle. And expecting a miracle means we have to believe for that miracle to happen. And believing, means we have to put our faith in God and TRUST Him to give us a miracle.

I don't know about you, but I am expecting a revival of passion for God. A belief that the life of students is not just about studying and scoring straight A's. A belief that school is not just a place to study and fool around.

Instead, I believe that the life of a student can be influential and revolutionary! I believe that school is a place where you can change lives, where people can come to know God through not just Christian Fellowship, not just Recess Revolution, but also through YOU!

Weeks of planning, organising, practising and meetings are finally coming down to this. Regardless of whether you are serving or participating, I urge you to pray as we count down the days to this event.

It's really time to start believing and trusting God for that revival. Even as we seek His blessing, we also have to be desperate, hungry and thristy for more and more of God! God wants you and your friends for His kingdom!

We really have to believe that through this event, lost souls will be saved, people who have strayed away will be drawn back to God, passion will be ignited and will spread like wildfire amongst our generation, that THIS GENERATION WILL BE THE GENERATION THAT IS RECKLESS FOR GOD, A GENERATION THAT IS NOT AFRAID OF SHOWING UP, STANDING UP AND SPEAKING UP FOR JESUS!

If you believe and want that miracle to happen, pray like you have never prayed before! Cry out to God and ask Him for it like you mean it! Pray for each and every single person who is taking part in this event! Pray against the evil one and opposition in Jesus's name!

Because Luke 11:9 says,

So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Do you want that miracle to happen? Then get on your knees and start praying! No more excuses and procastination! I believe that if we give God our best, He will also give us His best! Amen? :D

Is time for the monthly friday Recess Revo again. Well, this time we want to give free cordial fruit juice to all our school students. So basically, i want you guys to do some preparation la. This is a list of what i need la...

2 bottles of 1.5 litter of boiled water ( everyone participant must bring la)
3 bottle of cordial (any flavor)

water dispenser
paper cup
the big spoon you use to cook.

Bacisally, every RR member just have to bring two bottles of water la. And if you guys can contribute some others thing would be good la.. Haha..

So this RR would be after school this friday, for morning session and for afternoon session is before school, around 12.30pm. So yea, lets live out love for our school.

Hey guys.. Just in case you guys miss out what happen during in 1st Klang Valley RR gathering last saturday. Pr.Andy have something to tell you guys.. SO yea... Here It goes.

Dear Recess Revo a.k.a. "Champs"

If you didn't know yet... we currently have 56 Recess Revo Teams found in 27 Schools across the Klang Valley, including Kajang! God has started something amazing in and through young people, and this "movement" is advancing and growing! Having said that, I am still convinced that this is only the beginning, and our best days are yet to come! I dream of the day where entire schools, entire cities, and even our entire nation is changed because young people are rising up, loving God and loving people, and living a "new normal" in God! It can happen!

Luke 1:37 (NIV)
"For nothing is impossible WITH God" (emphasis mine)

As exciting as this possibility, this vision, this movement can be.... let's remember to always work WITH GOD. We need the Holy Spirit. We cannot work on our own. Our best ideas will fall flat to the ground eventually if they are not God's ideas. So let's learn to work WITH the Holy Spirit. Prayer must never be removed from the equation of what we do. Prayer declares our dependency on God. So let's pray, let's listen (to the voice of the Holy Spirit), and let's obey.

After the Klang Valley Recess Revo Gathering, we will get ready to "release" and "launch out" again. Get ready to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying, and get ready to RADICALLY OBEY Him! Faith without works is dead. So let's get ready to put ACTION to our faith!

Last Friday, we had CF as usual. But this time, Ps Andy was with us! He shared something good with us, and I thought everyone would wanna read this too!

Now Passion...

a) turns everything fun even if the thing is not fun!
Imagine, if you look forward to EXAMS, you'll eventually study hard and wanna get good grades right? And if you want to study, you'll eventually go to the books and start doing serious business with them. See, even if it isn't fun, but if you have passion for exams, you'll eventually find them fun!

b) with God will help you find your purpose in God!
Like.. David. Once, his dad asked him to deliver lunch to his brothers. If David didn't have passion for God, he wouldn't honour his mum and dad. BUT since David obeyed, the Goliath story soon came up and until today, we're still talking about it. Did David know that he was going to mentioned until today? Certainly, NOT! Therefore, if you pursue God, you'll find your purpose.

Get the word? PASSION!

Now.. if you're curious whether you have it or not, don't worry!
Nine points to see whether you have it or not :)

1) Passion does not depend to the person next to you.
2) Passion does not depend on feelings, it's an attitude of your heart.
3) Passion cannot be hidden.
4) Passion is what people say you have.
5) Passion has a lot of energy and strength.

40-Day Fast & Prayer

22 July ~ 30 August 2009

Every year in my country Malaysia, our National Evangelical Christian Fellowship (NECF) organizes a 40-day Fast and Prayer to pray for the nation, ending just in time to celebrate our Independence Day on 31 August.

You don't have to be a Christian to fast for 40 days. Prolonged fasting has its benefits for health reasons(http://www.juicing-for-health.com/benefits-of-juice-fast.html). Or, whatever is your faith, you may want to join the CF in a fast and pray in your own special way. But my approach will be from the Christianity perspective.

How you can fast?

You can opt to fast in any of the following ways:

A partial food fast: Fast from a meal a day (either breakfast, lunch or dinner); or omitting a certain type of food during the fast (example, meat).

A full food fast: Fast from all foods and drinking only fluids¾water, health drinks, juices and broths. (For prolonged fast, vegetable juices are preferred over fruit juices.)

Absolute fast: Refraining from both food and fluids. Not to be attempted for more than three days, unless you know what you are doing.

Non-food fast: Giving up something you love that may have been interfering with your spiritual life (example, TV or the computer). But I personally find this the most difficult to do!!

Hey people!!
if you all have been reading the blog, you should know that we painted the front gate.
However someone vandalize it so we decided to fix the board.
after school we brought spray paint, cellophane tape and newspapers.

as you all can see the there are gold paint around the 4

Since there are no turning back.. we decided to pray first to avoid any mistake and cause more trouble.

Next it was the space in the middle of the 4

Again.. we prayed first before we spray

TADA!!!!!!!! the 4 is fixed!!! It looks like it never have been vandalize before. Praise the Lord that everything go according to plan and thank you Darren Soh for helping us out and care about this matter even though it isn't your school.

Hey people! =) Our CF cleaned windows on the 26th of June! We cleaned around 30 classes. Overall it was a fun, dirty, memorable experience. As planned earlier for Recess Revolution this week, we went to school for painting the school gate!

Met in school at 8ish in the morning, thirteen people turned up!
Wai Yip, Chun Yeet, Jay Yang, Joel, Darren, Mun Teng, Pamela, ShuRun, Jia Ying, Anna, Tracy, Jasmyne and Ming Wei.

Started work after praying for weather, safety, before-after effects, and the Holy Spirit's guidance, we started PAINTING!

When Pn.Adilah came with buckets of paints, with multiple colors except green when the gate is green, turned out that we were painting the school's front, instead of the gate!

While we were painting, thank God, the weather was just nice, most of the time! No injuries were present, Pn.Adilah helped us paint, and she even gave us a 24-can-Revive! She's not that bad after eh? :P

After four to five hours of painting, we were done! Well, at least the school's front was done..!

Woohoo, thank God! :D

Revolution Conference 2009!

Hello dear cf babies! :)

As you guys know, Revolution Conference 2009 was held in Summit Hotel from the 4th to the 6th of June.

It was practically conference at day, and party at night.

For the first night, which was revo party, we had a great opening and enjoyed the word from Ps Sandra. She taught us F.R.U.! :D

The conference on the 2nd day was very substantial. Many speakers. We made notes and learned a lot. Which probably will be shared another time :D

And there was revo party at night, basically a concert event. Awesome music, just praising God and enjoying his presence :) There was an altar call for people to respond to God's calling. Seeing so many people responding, it was really awesome.

The next day for the conference, we had breaking-up into groups and practising our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. We were asked to pray to God to show us visions or description of a person and ask Him what to do. Then with these information we were supposed to look for that person in Summit.

Some of us hit the jackpot big time. Some found the exact person and did prayer. Some of us invited the particular person for the night concert.

Overall it was a great experience :)

There was a stirring at the night party. After the word, people were moved and many were touched by the Holy Spirit. Out of 430 people, almost 370 responded for the altar call.

Superr awesome! I experienced God at a totally different level. And being embraced by his Holy presence, it was really wonderful. I could feel his tremendous love and grace, not only for me, but also for each and every single one of us, even YOU who is reading this.

Knowing that He is merciful and willingly accepts me although I've sinned against him, reduced me to tears. I couldn't stop crying. But then again, knowing that I'm forgiven makes me so happy I wanna rejoice everyday :D

I believed something changed in us, as a cf, I know that revival starts from us now. And it will be of God's will and of the Holy Spirit, I pray, that this revival and revolution will spread like wild fire, touching lives and saving souls :)

footprints in the sand

Just a little something I got from my church camp ;)

It's quite famous but I thought of putting it here.

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord..

"You promised me Lord that if I followed You, You would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed You most, have You not been there for me?"

The Lord replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

Sometimes, we may think that we're alone in the hard times, and wonders where God is. But in actual fact, God never promised us a smooth and relaxing life. But he never said also, that He would leave us alone. He promised us to be there for us, and He would not leave us nor forsake us. So, it's alright to blab your lungs out to Him, he would love to listen.

Ever forgetting the teachings of the bible after reading it chapters after chapters? Of-course! Nobody can remember all that they had read...#However, there are always solutions to the questions in life...And guess what? It's through journaling!!Journaling??

Definition of journal: a diary or daily record.

Well, this is how we should do it:

Scripture-write down the scripture that caught your attention.

Observation-write down what have you observed and learned.

Application-start asking yourself questions.E.g. "Am I worthy to go to heaven?"(based on the scripture you've learned)

Prayer-write down your prayer to God in response to His life-bringing Word.

*Each paragraph for one of the points above!Don't forget to pray before you start!!!

Haven't try yet?I guess so... Why not start reading the next bible verses/chapters and incorporate with journaling!
It's not boring journaling for as you journal through, you'll indeed hear God's voice speaking to you through your daily obedience!
Don't believe?Try it yourself! It'll only benefit you in your everyday encounter with God!

Hey, I was reminded of something I learn during my church camp last year.

In John 21:15-17,

Peter had denied God three times before the crucifixion..
And after He'd risen, He encountered Peter on the seashore not asking him for a confession of his sin, but a confession of his love three times, as Peter had denied him.

Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?"
Peter answered, "Yes Lord; You know that I love You."
Jesus said to Peter again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?"
Peter answered, "Yes Lord; You know that I love You."
Jesus said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?"
Peter answered, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.

The term of love in Jesus's first two question was in the term of "agapao", which means unconditional love in Greek.
Later in the third time when He asked, he used the term "phileo".

Whereas, the term of love in all of Peter's answer was in the term of "phileo", which means brotherly love in Greek.

So, the actual dialogue was..

Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you agapao me more than these?"
Peter answered, "Yes Lord; You know that I phileo You."
Jesus said to Peter again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you agapao me?"
Peter answered, "Yes Lord; You know that I phileo You."
Jesus said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you phileo me?"
Peter answered, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I phileo You.

Peter couldn't match up to Jesus' level of love.. Instead, Jesus came down to Peter's level of love.

Same goes to us, it's impossible to love like how God loves us, unconditionally.

Recess Revolution

Hey guys,

as you guys know, we've started Recess Revolution today. What is it about?? In a nutshell, is we as a Christian simply show out, stand out, speak out during our recess time. Recess Revolution actually is way of reaching out but without really going around preaching. Erm...How?? take today for an example.

Today, we're told to bring our bible wherever we go during recess. By doing this, we're are actually making a statement that we're a Christian. So now, that people know that we're a christian, every action we do counts, cause whatever we do, the crowd will observe, and that's the impression they have towards Christian. So, we've simply stayed back after recess and just cleaned up the table, we're indirectly leaving an impact to other people.

Reflection on your life

Ever thought of saying to a friend:"God loves you"? Well, of course as Christians we do practice saying these words on a regular basis but do we truly mean it in our hearts? Many of us as Christians can't even behave properly. For example, when we are among our friends, we tend to use words that bring people down in emotions probably because of some jokes but it's painful inside of the person that is being criticised or played of while we continue doing it for our own gratification and pleasure without even thinking of the "victim's" feelings. Phillipians 2:4-"Don't look out only for your own interests,but take an interest in others,too". My mum once said that if we indulge in these acts and go on without realising that we're wrong, we are actually letting the devil taking control of us(mind,spirit &body). Hence, we can't live a life that is without God or out of the devil's realm ; We can't stay neutral, we will either fall into good side(God's side) or the bad side (devil's side). Face the fact, we can't ignore living this life and this life is simply a journey that we ought to go through.

Through it all, because of what we've said that had affected others, it hurt God's heart ultimately for God created us under His image. If we insult one another, we are also insulting God's creation. Come to think about it if we do so, we are actually worst than people whose life aren't saved yet because as Christians, we acknowledged that Jesus had died for our sins and we ought to live our lives telling others about the Saviour who did it all so that we can have eternity after life on earth. Rather than that, we let sins liberate us from God; backslight as a result.

Another cause by doing this unreasonable act is that God cannot work in us because of the resentments, dislikes, hatred and anxieties in us. It filled the space in our hearts that nothing can stop us from acting more viciously towards a particular person including that of hurting others physically.

I'm telling you these because it's a matter of life and death. Ever thought of going to heaven one day and kneeling down in front of God's presence,when God asks you: "Why have you insulted*blank* since you knew that you should be showing My love towards *blank*." I tell you the truth, this would happen one day in heaven and I'm certain that we could not be able to answer God the reason for our ridiculous act on earth.

However, since God had given us the second chance to live again through Jesus's death, we ought to show God and proved to Him our very best for action is louder than words. Examine yourself even now in prayer and petition to God that you may live this life pleasing to God. He's worth every single second of our life. If we don't live for Him, we are worthless.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone and the new has come!"

(2 Cor. 5:17)

Hey guys, do you know we as Christian always proclaim the John 3:16 verse??

"For God so loved the world, He gave his one and only son to die for us, for whoever who believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life."

Before, we go out and start to proclaim the verse, do you know the meaning of believe??

here's a story that kinda describe the meaning of believe..

once there a person who tries to break a world record by walking on a thread from one end to another end. Something like the picture below

But then, one of the person from crowd throw a challenge to him, by asking him to walk on the thread without using the pole (the stick his holding) .Without hesitation, he quickly took up the challenge. Besides that, he top-up the challenge saying, he would used wheel-barrow instead of the pole.

Immediately, the crowd break into conversation, discussing whether he could make it or not... After that, the crowd was divided to two group, the one who believe he can make it, and the another group that doubt.

He then asked one of the person from the crowd who believes :' If you believe that i can pass through to the another end with this wheel barrow, come and sit in the wheel barrow' Nobody stood up and join him...

So, as Christian, before we proclaim the verse we're proud and happy of... Do you really believe and willing to surrender your life to him?? (no stress but just think about it k??)-kelv

hey, i know there is a lot of confusion about the latest partnership we've having with ACTS church. So, here's a short brief in what is it about....

What ?
“Project Mordecai” is a CF (Christian Fellowship in Schools) Adoption Project by
ACTS Church through ACTS Teens – its Teens Ministry. It is aimed not just to
encourage the secondary school Christian Fellowships (CF), but also working
hand‐in‐hand with them to impact their schools. We are committed to support,
disciple, equip, and challenge the CFs and their members to be soul winners and
to make a positive impact in their schools!

Why “Mordecai?”
Mordecai adopted an orphan he named Esther, as his own child. He loved her,
raised her carefully, and she was a good and obedient daughter even into
adulthood – (Esther 2:7 on)
And while Esther was a hero, so was Mordecai. It's team work!
Esther was used by God to save a whole generation! She did it at a time when all
odds were against her. And Mordecai never left her side. He cared for her but he
also challenged her at the same time. And he also did what was right in his own
generation. That's why the king rewarded him. He never abused his position
with Esther ... it was not about him ... but about her ... and ultimately the people.
In the same manner, our desire is to provide spiritual covering as well as
practical training for CFs who will partner with us to see their school
transformed by the love and power of God. It is not about how many CFs we can
adopt, but it’s about how the CFs can be an impact in and through their schools.

BLESSED EASTER, EVERYONE! :)

As we all know, Christ died for us, and rose again after three days!
It wasn't easy at all, but he still did it for us!
Why? Because he loved us so so much!

Another thing..
We need not to wear a mask to communicate with Him, neither do we need to act.
All He really wants is you to communicate with him with who you are!

So.. what are you waiting for?
Talk to Him more often :D

Hello, hello!

Sorry for being so quiet for such a long time :P

The main point of this post, Project Modercai !

If you're attending CF nowadays, you may hear announcements regarding it.

Anyway, what's Project Modercai all about?

Basically, Acts church wants to adopt our CF..

In that case, our CF can be official!

But after Acts church adopt us,

our CF is no longer under USJ4, instead, we're under Acts.

We're meeting up to discuss about it..

So..

Where? Summit - McD's!

When? 11.30am, 11th April - Saturday!

Who? With Pastor Andy!

If you're interested, feel free to come!

As many of us know, theCF had a potbless party yesterday!

Hey guys, as you know... Our first step of making cf official is by making bible knowledge class happen in our school....

Currently,we are at the final stage, the letter has been handed in to the school authority..... Please PRAY for us that the school authority will approve as it is our first step of making our cf official..

Beside that, if our class is approved..... we will need students to attend( like duh...... why open a class without students) erm, basically we will be focusing on two books which is Gospel of Luke and the apostle of Acts..... erm... we strongly encourage you to buy the textbook which looks like this

haha..... yeap...... The Malaysia Christian School of Counsel will need 3000 students to take this subject by 2010 or else it will be taken away from the SPM syllabus... so take it and support it ok..... there is a revision book for this textbook but not very accurate la..

haha.... yeap is a comic and is good for evangelism as well so yea....... till then people.... lets dance in the freedom we know
